A chook proved it’s an absolute boss when it averted not one or two however eight passes by two completely different great white sharks off the coast of San Diego, California. The drone pilot and shark-behavior fanatic who captured the video, Scott Fairchild, says we may all be taught a factor or two from this dangerous*ss seabird.
“That is one among my all time favourite interactions,” Fairchild says in his video caption. “This dangerous*ss chook is an ideal instance of how you can deal with being approached by a shark in open water. All the time face it, at all times preserve eye contact, stare it down. Let it know: I see you! I’m conscious of you! This chook was even placing his head underwater to stare at it, ensuring the shark knew it noticed it.”
Within the video, you may see a chook floating on the floor of the ocean as a big shark swims by. This occurs time and again, suggesting the sharks are circling, ready for a possibility to seize it. Every time a shark will get shut, the chook geese its face within the water and stares the apex predator down.
Whereas seabirds don’t make up a big proportion of nice whites’ diets, they are on the menu. Not this chook, although.
“Effectively performed Mr Chicken, effectively performed,” Fairchild says.
